My wife, daughter and i went last night. The outdoor patio lacked in that it was only yards from the PCH and indoor diners were coming out to smoke. So we moved! Not a problem. our waitress "suggested" rather strongly that we consider a particular wine that she thought was wonderful. Fortunately, I had her point it out on the wine list. It listed at $135.00!! Sorry, but that started the evening off poorly since I assumed that I could get a good bottle of wine in the $50-60 category. We decided to not order wine. Her attitude after that was definitely "smug". However she suggested that since we were not having wine, we should have an appetizer, namely the salad (artichoke hearts, shitake mushrooms, etc.) We conceded, but judged that at $18.50, it could have been bigger although it was good.
We would not recommend this restaurant and we are individuals who have eaten all over the world in upscale settings.
Pros: Good food. Valet parkig good.
Cons: Pushy wait staff
