Review content:
My friend Mary and I used to get pedicures together ALL THE TIME when I lived in Minnesota. When she came to visit last week, I scheduled us pedicures at The Spa at Woodmark...we were both looking forward to relaxing, getting pampered, and of course chatting. We arrived at the spa and were impressed by the decor and the friendly recertionists. It all took a nosedive when we were brought back for our treatment and realized that the pedicure chairs weren't together...there was even a wall between us! After our treatment which included a parafin wax for BOTH hands and feet (very nice), a short foot soak in tepid water (ugh) and a below average foot/leg massage we were invited to relax and let our toenails dry in the spa waiting room which was very ooh-la-la. The waiting room had comfy chairs, relaxing lighting, and excellent snacks...nuts, fruit, and chocolate covered strawberries (yummy). Relaxing in the spa waiting room was actually the highlight of our treatment. Overall the experience was average and compared to many other places we've been together, not worth the $60.00 price tag.
Pros: comfortable spa waiting room with yummy treats
Cons: no pedicure chairs together
