Review content:
I would have preferred to give this company no stars, but unfortunately that was not a viable option. I lived in an apartment with this company while in college and had the worst and most manupulative experience! All negative stories that you hear about rental companies were true with Hallmark. They lied on the walk-out after I moved out, they charged me crazy late fees for things that did not exist. Then when I would call to prove that they were wrong with documentation from our walk-through, they would charge me even more fees for "taking up their time"! No one would take responsibility for the mistakes, and then they would simply pass me off to their legal team. I believe that considering they have an in-house legal team right in their office that should say enough about the company. They are out to get the students! They are scam artists and unfortunately they are taking advantage of young emerging adults within this town. All of my neighbors in my complex agree that Hallmark is the worst rental company we had ever encountered. I'm assuming that most of the other reviews are a sham of some kind, because ever story I have ever heard dealing with this company has been negative. In my four years at Indiana University, I never once encountered a person that had a good experience with Hallmark. Do not rent/deal/associate with this company!
