Review content:
As a Korean American, I can honestly say that Kang Suh has some of the best traditional Korean dishes I have tasted. I can't wait until summer for their Mul naengmyon, and their Kalbee is great any time, among some of the other traditional stews. But I just can't put up with the service any longer! On a recent Friday night, we occupied the table for a mere 30 minutes before the waitress started to hover over our table to scoot us out. She tried to clear our dishes twice even though we told her we were still eating, and yet she still reached across my face to the other side of the table to retrieve one empty beer bottle. Simple requests for anything, whether its more rice, another utensil, or some cold water were met with complete annoyance on the part of the wait staff, as usual. Between 2 adults and a 3 year old, we spent over $110 yet we couldn't enjoy our meal in peace. Keep in mind, we've eaten at Kang Suh hundreds of times over the past 15 years that they should recognize us! This last experience just made me realize that going out to eat at a restaurant isn't only about the taste and quality of the food. The feeling that you are welcome and your business is appreciated is just as important. Needless to say, I'm looking for a new Korean restaurant...
Pros: Great food
Cons: Horrible Service!!
