Land Park Ski has been on Freeport for many years and there is a reason for this. The reason is because they fill the niche for a winter sports shop in the Sacramento area because there aren't that many in our area. Another reason it has been there because it is family owned and operated and they take pride in customer service and to keep themselves unique from the chain stores. I have made several purchases here over the years and have never been dissapointed because after the fact I found that the prices I paid at Land Park Ski were cheaper then what I would have paid at the chain stores. There are also sporting goods for a plethra of other sports, but many people see this shop as a specialist in ski and snowboard gear. The shop is in a prime location off of Freeport and even the building is interesting because it is in the shape of a mountain cabin that you would see in Tahoe. A minor negative is that their hours are very limited when it is not peak skiing season. This store is very unique and the staff is nice so give them a try.
