Gelato, and east of the Caldecott too! Thank you Gelateria Naia. They have a billion flavors, all fresh made and as authentic and creamy as I remember it being in Italy. They have eastern inspired flavors such as Milo or Horlicks, lots of varieties of chocolate, and many fruit sorbet types (my favorite!) with little chunks of actual fruit within. The newest flavor is the mojito, which is minty fresh, just like the drink.
It is a bit pricey, but you get at least 2 flavors per cup of ice cream and the friendly staff is always generous in handing out tons of samples. There is also a nice area out front to sit outside and chill while chowing down on your delicious gelato.
