Businiess name:  Atticus Book Store-Cafe
Review by:  Cara C.
Review content:
Nestled right on the most heavily frequented strip of Chapel Street is New Haven's gem of a bookstore, which also happens to run one of the best bakeries around. Naturally geared towards the student crowd, the bookstore carries more than the usual blockbuster. The selection is eclectic and sometimes surprising, and it is almost as much fun to browse the aisles for books as it is to take one out, order a scone or a muffin, sit down and read through it. Since Atticus is located right in the middle between two world-class museums, it is not surprising that the selection of books on art and photography is especially strong. More friendly and cozy than the big chain bookstore nearby, Atticus is a delightful place to stop in, spend an hour or quietly sip coffee while reading a book.
