Review content:
Grand Avenue's Do It Best hardware store, formerly affilitated with ACE, is a nice hardware store convenient to residents of the Macalester/Groveland community of St. Paul. With two floor, it's fairly large, and boast both quality goods and a knowledgable staff, so generally the shopping experience is a pleasant one. I've never been unable to find what I need, although occasionally I end up paying much more for it than I'd planned. The only downside to Do It Best is that it is occasionally overrun with junior high students from the school across the street; this problem has been cut down by signs posting limiting visits by these youngsters to two at a time.
