I went in for an oil change at Grease Monkey in Wandermere & tried to use a coupon for $159 for a transmission flush. Long story short, the assistant manager tried charging me $244 for this service. The coupon had no restrictions. I asked him why it was so much & he said that there are always extra charges & that's how they make their money! I told him I was going to get my phone in the car to call my husband & the guy told me that if I left that he would call the cops on me so I asked a customer to use their phone. I tried paying for the bill & now the guy says sorry we dont take checks or credit card. I said the sign says you do right here..."not for you". Wow, I'm 52 and have never experienced an ordeal like this. I'm a woman by the way, and this guy was treating me like trash! Well apparently the assistant manager had called the cops because two cop cars showed up. Thankfully, the cops took me outside & knew that he was being rude. Also in the end the asst manager charged with $61 for an oil change and that's with a $10 coupon off! I will never come back here again, ever! I have brought so much business to this place but now I will redirect all family & friends to Oil Can Henrys! Stay away unless you want to be overcharged and disrespected!
