Dr. Askari was recommended by my dentist, Dr. Andrei Grun(See review). Even if you dread having periodontal work, Dr. Askari will help you feel more comfortable and relaxed. He is an excellent periodontist - he looks over your teeth and gums and explains the procedures he will do to make them better. He will let you know beforehand how much the insurance will cover and how much it will cost if it doesn't cover something and then you can decide what you want. He listens to your concerns about pain (he will give you more novacaine if you need it) and readily answers your questions. He has a caring and efficient staff. Aftercare is excellent too - you get Ibuprofen before you leave and an icepack as needed - he often answers the phone when you call.
