Businiess name:  Darla & Co. Hair Salon & Day Spa

Review content:
If I could give this salon a big fat "Zero", I would. For my birthday, my daughter bought me a $100 gift certificate to get my hair done by Cassidy, who has been doing my hair for quite some time. I am retired and on a fixed income. I called to make an appointment and was told Cassidy no longer works here. I did not want to go to another hairdresser because I just trusted Cassidy. My daughter called and talked to Darla, the salon owner, on November 16, 2010 and explained that I do not get my nails done or need any other services and would like to get a refund. Darla told my daughter that although there was a sign posted as to no refunds, she would make a one time exception and refund my $100. I was to call first to make sure she had the cash on hand. On November 27, 2010, my daughter called and asked Darla if it was okay for me to come by and get the refund. At that time Darla responded quite abruptly, I talked to someone and I am not going to refund the $100. On 11/16/10 Darla agreed to refund the money, then on 11/27/10, Darla backed out on her agreement. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES - SHE CANNOT BE TRUSTED!
