Avoid this place at all costs; they engage in dishonest business practices.
My daughter brought her vacuum cleaner in for an estimate, and was charged a $10 "evaluation fee". She was told they would call with an estimate once they'd taken a look at it and figured out what was wrong with it.
The next day she received a voicemail saying, "Hello, this is Vacuum City. We're calling because we know you wanted an estimate which is $56.70. The price is SO LOW we know you won't say "No", so we went ahead and fixed it. You can pick it up any time." Needless to say my daughter was a bit taken aback by this, and she questioned them about the behavior. When she did, the owner of the establishment became extremely rude, shouted at her, used profanity towards her, ripped out the parts he'd installed in the vacuum, then threw it at her.
If I could post the voicemail to provide some validation I would. Needless to say I could not warn Yelpers more strongly to stay away from this place.
Judy's Book doesn't allow zero stars, or that's what the rating would be for Vacuum City.
