Review content:
i came here with a good friend for some needed rest and pampering on a recent friday morning. we were both excited for a restful and fun day together. As i arrived at 12:15 pm for a 12:30 pm one hour massage followed by a manicure/pedicure i waited for about 7 minutes before Lana came to the front desk. i was given a bath robe which was pretty worn though it did smell clean and told to change in the only one changing room they had, leaving my friend to wait until i finished changing. the massage was just OK. not a bad one but certanily not a memorable one. manicure and pedicure was OK as well. the only thing i really enjoyed was the mimosas being offered which i availed myself to it several times. i found that once we were both done with the services, i felt that at the point they just wanted us to make room for the other customers. it felt rushed as if the services are now done and now you can leave. overall, the experience was just OK. considering there are so many spas in nyc, i think i will pass on returning to Allure spa and give another spa a try.
