recently my family and i went to Chapala's in Hamilton for dinner. when
our bill arrived, a tip was already included although we were only 2 adults
and 2 kids in the party. i was told that the management insisted that
tips were to be included. when i said that i did not agree with this and
it would be a customer's choice to leave a tip and how much, they
became rude and started yelling and asked me to
leave the restaurant and never come back.
i was so shocked to see this type of a behaviour. how can the waitstaff
force a customer to leave a certain amount as the tip? this is unheard of.
