I finally purchased a Sam's Club membership this month. When the store first opened I looked around and decided that there were very few "good deals" to be had and said, "no thank you" to a membership. I usually know the unit pricing for the items I purchase and I can buy sale or generic at regular stores for less than Sam's "warehouse prices." The few exeptions are loratadine and tagament knockoff, etc. My allergies are year round and the savings on the loratadine was significant. There were a few and I do mean few other good deals in the store. But, I'm still not impressed with their grocery/food pricing. I can do way better at Kroger with double coupons! In my opinion Sam's Club just doesn't live up the hype!
