THINK TWICE BEFORE PATRONIZING THE GREENTREE DAY SPA!
My husband gave me a gift certificate for a full day at the Greentree Day Spa in Douglasvile. I originally had scheduled a day in early June for services, but I had to reschedule. After cancelling my first appointment, I rescheduled for a Saturday in July. When I arrived for my day at the Greentree, I was told that although the computer showed that my original day had been cancelled, it was not showing that I had rescheduled for any date. They were unable to accomodate me on that day, as they were all booked. I asked the receptionist if I could be reimbursed for my certificate and she gave me the owner, Carole Minecci's phone number.
When I contacted Carole and told her my story, she became quite abusive and told me that I was a "negative person who will not be satisfied and is looking to make trouble", and that she would not refund my money.
I feel that Ms. Minecci's comments and attitude toward me were rude, uncalled-for and unbecoming to a business owner. I am not a negative person, I would have been satisfied if my appointment had be properly rescheduled, and I am not looking to make trouble. I simply wanted my money back after scheduling an appointment was obviously not a guarantee that services would be rendered on an agreed-upon date.
Please think twice before patronizing the Greentree. They obviously are not service-oriented and do not treat their customers well and do not deserve our business. There are several other businesses offering spa services in Douglasville who do not verbally abuse their customers.
