Vic’s Italian Restaurant is located in the heart of City Market in downtown Raleigh. Their owner, who is normally onsite, definitely makes sure everything is always just right. It is popular for both lunch and dinner and their food really is some of the best Italian fare around. I would recommend the Pasta alla Michael or any of their stromboli. Another suggestion is to go during lunch. The dinner menu is nearly the same and the serving size is the same, but the prices go much higher. So, if you can sneak away for lunch or get there on a weekend, that’s when I’d say to go. Parking can be difficult as it is all on-street with 1-2 hour limits during the day so be prepared to spend some time looking.
