We lived at Brookfield from 200 to 2003. The management was caring and friendly (although, I believe they may be under different management now), maintenance was excellent, and the neighbors were friendly. They had a beautiful pool, but because of overhanging trees it tended to get leaves in it.
The gates were kept up well (were only down during freezes). They did have a problem with people breaking into the mail-boxes. There was also some problem with loud music on the weekends.
