I have been renting from Cayce and Gain for 1 1/2 years now and was ready to be out a year ago. Just as the other comments state--they NEVER reply in a timely manner. I had my sink leaking for 2 weeks before someone ever came out to look at it--and YES I did call to put in a service request, multiple times and for each time it seemed they had never written it down or it didn't get to the right person. My dishwasher does NOT clean dishes, but rather makes them dirty and when we asked maintenance, he said it was b/c they were cheap. And no the company wouldn't be able to replace them. I was supposed to have my vents cleaned prior to my move-in and it still hasn't happened 1 1/2 years later. In addition, they do not know how to handle noise complaints whatsoever. My neighbors have loud parties 4-5 nights out of the week where there is lots of drinking and cursing going on at 3am. I called Cayce and Gain, this started a year ago and I'm still dealing with it. The only way I'm able to sleep through the night is turn on a LOUD fan that will act as white noise against the partying of the neighbors--who is friends' with the manager so she'll never get evicted. Explains why she's been able to party for a year and get away with it. I had a neighbor who I met on my first day and she told me to stay the hell away--this place is horrible and she's trying to get out as soon as she can--now I know why... I should have listened. I want my deposit so I have to remain until my lease expires--but after which time I will NEVER rent from them again---you shouldn't either... there's other great places in West Seattle where you won't get problems like this. more
