Brien Ford Collision

Avoid Brien Ford Collision 6/25/2007

I've been doing business with Brien Collision for over 7 years - which dates back to when they were just an extension of the main sales building (they've since split off from Brien Motors and are now an independent entity licensing the Brien name). In that time, I've purchased 2 F350 DRW trucks, 1 mustang, 2 explorers, and referred 3 friends who also purchased vehicles from them. I've had each car in the shop for either major or minor body and paint work. One of my F350's was hit in the side and spent 68 days with them. They do mediocre work at best, often requiring multiple trips through the shop to get the job completed. Attention to detail is low. For example, if you have several areas or scratches needing repair, chances are good that they will miss at least one of them. Calling and asking them to double check does not help - they still miss things... If your time is important to you and you do not want to make multiple trips just for the sake of inspecting and rejecting the work then you should probably look for another shop. I've had many problems getting them to call me when the vehicle is ready. Most of the time, I have to call them to find out. Communication is poor and has resulted in lost time and frustration. When I did complain that one of my cars sat for several weeks, the receptionist became defensive and suggested that it was my fault for not calling them when they failed to contact me... That left me lost for words... I got no result from the manager or the owner - they really just didn't seem to care... Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else... Be cautious and very skeptical... Body work on your car is serious stuff; you pay a lot for your vehicle every month... Don't let these guys ruin your investment... more
