Don't be fooled! The owner packages this place beautifully, especially the new TV show, but the whole thing is a lie.
Look closely and you will see why you shouldn't believe the hype. I've been to the Belltown and Elliot location; Belltown is really bad.
Small dogs - look at the number of small dogs they keep in the pen by the window...they're putting more than 10 dogs in that small space...and they never get human attention.
Larger dogs - they don't have enough staff to watch all those big dogs, so it's like a crazy house in the back. They do not have staff dedicated to walking, so dogs are not walked regularly and consistently.
The noise levels at the Belltown location stress me out after 5 minutes, can you imagine how bad dogs feel after a whole day! They have a very high turnover of staff, but you wouldn't know it because you don't interact with the people who are actually handling your dog.
People who bring their dogs to this place want to believe the lie. You spend a ton of money and buy into the illusion of a loving space for dogs, but what you get is a big warehouse full of stressed out animals.
If you decide to bring your dog make sure you ask them 'when' your dog was walked...not 'if' the dog was walked, because they will lie. If you're paying 25+ dollars a day, and your dog is not being walked, or being given attention, then your dog might as well be at the local animal shelter. Actually, the dogs at PAWS get more attention and personal space!
