Mt. Rose is one of my favorite ski resorts in the Reno area. It's got trails for people of all ages and abilities and the lift ticket prices are always reasonable. The resort almost always has great snow, as well, which is something that some of our lower elevation resorts do not have. They also have a great ski school called Rosebuds that I did as a child and cannot wait to put my kids into.
