I thought clearwire sounded like a good deal.So I checked into it, service was only provided in certain areas so when they told me I would need to sign a 2 year contract I said no thanks! I knew then that I would likely be moving in 1 year. Then they informed me that their contract would be terminated with no early termination fee if you moved out of their service area. So, when I moved to my lovely new home in St. Augustine, I inquired about service and was told they didn't provide service to the area. I canceled my service on 1/15/07 my account was debited for the month of Jan. and on Feb 1 my account was debited for that month. So I paid for 6 weeks of service I didn't get. At that point I canceled my debit card so they couldn't continue to charge me and I called and complained about the debit. After that they then attempted to debit me for $180 early termination fee which didn't go through thanks to my quick card cancellation. Now they are calling me up to 3 times a day with an automated caller to tell me my service could be interrupted if I don't pay bill. I have called them many times to get this straightened out to no avail.
