I'd also check out the knife guy at the West Seattle Farmer's Market at the junction of California and Alaska. He's there most weekends in the summer (possibly winter, too) at the entrance adjacent to the bank. I had him sharpen a serrated bread knife that I figured was beyond saving. He cleaned it right up! I don't know his name, but he's the only knife sharpener at that market. He may also do the other farmers' markets.
