Yes, this place can get busy on the weekends. But I always find a place that is busy, to be a good sign that it's a good place to go. If you enjoy typical greasy diner fare, and chatting with the locals, this is a great place. Nothing formal. Come in your pajamas. Wait time is usually no more than 20mins. I went on a Sunday around 11:30am, and we (2 of us) got a prompt seat at the bar. The menu is extensive and breakfast is served all day. I had the strawberry waffles, which was good except for the smothering of strawberry compote on them. The egg dishes are plentiful. Hashbrowns are crispy. The service is quick, and the staff friendly. Everyone is on their toes. Cleanliness seemed to be decent. Perhaps in the year since the last reviews, the new management has kicked that up a notch. Lots of great memorabilia to reminisce on. Fun place to go on the weekends after rolling out of bed late, or a late night comfort food craving.
