Flexible Sanitation Grades 6/28/2005

When this place first opened in my area, I was so happy. I'm a lover of chinese foods. This place had it ALL as far as I could see. Little did I know that it had WAY more than I wanted! They display their sanitation grade against a wall that you won't notice until you've already eaten and are paying on your way out! Being the wife of an exectutive chef and having served many years in food service, I understand fully the importance of a sanitation grade. When a restaurant falls below an A, be AWARE. This restaurant has twice, to my knowledge been to the edge of being closed down with a B grade that was so near hitting 79, it's scary! The health department gives them a chance to change, but they are still allowed to operate. Who KNOWS what's going on in there. After the last B, I never went back. If you MUST go into this place, DEFINITATELY look at the wall just inside the door to see what the sanitation grade is before dinning. Poor food handling can be deadly, and these people serve LOTS of seafood! Be CAREFUL! more
