I started eating lunch at La Baguette's(1985-1989) when there was one located near Poplar and Mendenhall directly beside Amsouth Bank (formally known as First American Bank). It was in the back corner of a strip mall. We ate there several times a week.
We live in Germantown now and found that I can order the soup or any other items a day in advance and pick it up at The Gift Horse. What a thrill is was not to have to drive to Midtown just to get the soup. I have the recipe but I can never get it to taste as good as yours! Also your vinaigrette salad dressings are good enough to drink! Thanks for keeping it going, Donna B.
