They took total advantage of me. I knew NOTHING about diamond jewelry so I put my trust in them and ended up paying $8500 for a piece that was worth around $4-4500. It was a three stone .91 carat center, .28 sides, total carat weight of 1.19. Color is H and clarity is SI2. You check the prices and see what you find for reasonable value.
So, to add insult to injury, the way I found out I was ripped off was when I went back to Simayof to upgrade under THEIR upgrade policy. I picked out a new ring they told me was priced at $12,800, and they would give me 100% of what I paid for the first ring. I later went home, found the EXACT stock number of the new item on their website and also found it was priced on the website at $9100. When I brought this to the attention of the store manager he said "store prices were different from their website prices" and he would "check with the boss". Ultimately, he refused to return my calls and refused to honor the upgrade policy and told me they would not take my first piece back PERIOD. Read their upgrade policy on their website, it has enough loopholes in it to make the even the best philly lawyer scratch his head. It's a joke, frankly, so don't count on it. I found out the hard way you can't count on it, or them.
By the way, the second ring, quoted originally at $12,800 can be bought on Blue Nile for around $6,000. AVOID this company, they lack honesty and integrity!
