Chicago State University - Options Continuing Education 11/3/2006

Very disappointing! I was surprised they didn't offer more classes for continuing education. They're not interested in the students, the classes, the instructors, or the community. The management is poorly organized, doesn't really care about their surroundings and has not intent on changing any time soon. They do not market their classes anywhere in the community and they don't even have a website that allows students to register over the internet. They do have one for the college, but forget about Continuing Education. As long as they keep the current management, they will never amount to anything. Their staffers don't even take the classes themselves. They too are not knowledgeable in any of the software they need to do the job. Continuing education is laughable considering the surrounding schools, Moraine Valley, Olive-Harvey, et al, do a far better job. This is not where you want to take your computer classes unless you know the teacher. Otherwise, don't bother signing up. I don't even trust them because you can't register over the internet for their classes. What school in this day & age doesn't have a website you can register on? Why don't they have a website with all the courses listed so you can sign up for a computer or continuing education class? They just don't care . . . except to collect their checks every two weeks. Sad but TRUE!! more
