Here in Alexandria we have our own little "Dirty Diner". This is otherwise known as Pitt Grill. I have been to the Pitt Grill once or twice and found it to be quiet unkempt.
It is small, crowded, smoke filled, and dirty. The tables don't get cleaned after each patron finishes their meal and leaves.
There are times when you might order pancakes and find dried egg on the edge of your plate. Gross!!!!
I'm sure that every town has their own little "Dirty Diner" but hopefully yours isn't this bad.
Our city had established a "No Smoking" law some time ago and the "Regular" diners at Pitt Grill were interviewed regarding the law. They were very upset that they would have no place to dine and smoke.
It seems that most of the regular patrons were smokers.
