I'm always searching for Asian cuisines in Philly. In case you don't know a dol-sot bibimbap is a Korean rice dish served in a hot stone bowl. I found a pretty decent dol sot bibimbap at Miran. I've been there twice now and their side dishes or banchan has been hit or miss. My first time there the kimchi that wasn't very tasty and the veggies were old, and the second time I went it was pretty good. However, I've been disappointed with the kimchi turnip both times. The service is prompt and the Korean BBQ looks appealing each time I go (although I haven't had the opportunity to try it because they require a minimum of 2 orders.) The kimchi pancake is a bit soggy the time I had it, but their stews have been consistently tasty. I'll be back considering there's a very limited selection of Korean food here in Philly.
