Although I sympathize with your loss, I must disagree wholeheartedly with your assessment of Community Veterinary Practice.
I have followed the doctor from his previous place of employment to his new hospital. Over the years that I have been a client of his we have laughed together about my pets and have cried together about their passings.
You will not find a more compassionate and caring individual. He is fair and honest. I wish his new hospital continued success.
I cannot begin to second guess what happened to your cat but I can assure you that he and his staff did everything humanly possible to save him. Charging for services is not unusual, it is customary in both the human side of medicine and in the veterinary field.
