I transfered from another plasma donation center to this one because it was closer, and after 3 donations they stated that I could no longer donate until I gave them a doctor's note saying that I was no longer taking propecia. I told them that the other center had records showing that I had not taken propecia for over 40 days and that the other center HAD taken donations from me in the prior week. They still insisted on the note from the doctor. I obtained the note from the doctor and was able to donate. When I went back to donate the next time these geniuses had decided to require a note from my doctor with the exact date of when I last had taken propecia. The Quality Assurance director had put a medical "hold" on my donating until I obtained that paper. I asked if I went to my doctor that day and obtained this new requirement, if I could donate and they said "no" because the QA director was not in that day and I would have to wait until Monday. If the other center would take my plasma without a doctor's note, then why is this one being such a stick in the mud - especially after they had already taken my plasma three times! Very unprofessional and discourteous people work here. more
