But usually it seems that the people cutting your hair have an idea of what it should look like just based on how many of certain types of people walk in. I'm pretty sure if I hadn't interjected, I would have gotten a VERY old lady haircut, even more old lady than it did turn out. Twice now, I've gotten home from Great Clips and realized that one of my sideburns is much shorter than the other. My mother was a hairdresser, and when she cut my hair, she would look me straight in the face to make sure it was even on both sides. I don't think anyone has ever done that at Great Clips, or Hair Cuttery for that matter. I'm sorry that I can't necessarily afford a haircut at the premiere salons in the area, but I can hopefully ask for one that's even next time. Also, I was faced away from the mirror while she was cutting the sides of my hair, or I would have stopped her from going so short. I definitely got the feeling that she didn't care. I can't remember this woman's name but I DO know that someone named Christine is by far the BEST hairdresser at Great Clips. She razored my hair beautifully, one of the best hair cuts of my life. She deserves a PERFECT rating, but Great Clips, overall, still gets just the two stars...I will make sure either to catch Christine next time, or wait until I can drive and see my Mom.
