In its quest to create a menu with more pages than a Russian novel, The overrated Cheesecake Factory (Perimeter Mall location) fails to specialize in anything. How can you serve great Italian, Southwestern, and burgers at the same resaurant? You can't. Much of the food at The Cheesecake Factory is clearly from the freezer. Our deep-fried appetizer and burgers failed to live up to the standards of other competing chains (Ruby Tuesday's, Friday's). The Cheesecake tasted as if it had sat in the refrigerator too long. And all this after waiting twenty minutes for a table.
On a positive note, we had great, attentive service. We went to Cheesecake Factory because someone gave us a gift card. The experience typified what we hate about suburban food chains. We won't be going back.
