To me the Phoenix is the best paper to read. I read it religousily every week. The only other "paper" I read cover to cover is The New Yorker. The editorials in the Phoenix are most always outstanding. In the Phoenix one of the best writers is Harvey Silverglate. He has a column called "Freedom Watch" - and he says it like it is. He stands up for the individual's constitutional rights, and he fights, as the lawyer he is, for our personal and national freedom. He is a warrior. I also like the Arts section of the Phoenix 'cause there listed are all the interesting activities that are going on in the great city of Boston. A lot of "free" events happen which there would be no other way for me to learn about. Movie listings, unusual movies, ancient classics, plays and music concerts. Anyway, I love the Phoenix. It's an eye opener.
