Woodhouse Spa was running a first-time customer special and the ad appeared in Parkland magazine, so my mother-in-law brought me here with her for a day of bonding and being spoiled. We each got a massage, mini facial, and a pedicure. The lobby area is pretty relaxing, and the locker/changing room area is very nice, with deluxe skin care products and fancy showers, lockers, and roomy changing rooms with comfy robes. They have calming music and candles lit. They also sell cosmetics and will do a free application for you after you've had your services.
My massage was wonderful- often the masseuse will go too hard on me, I am quite delicate, but I asked her for a very light touch and it was a great experience. The facial was ok, but not the best. My mother-in-law likes her massages hard and she really enjoyed hers as well and felt the same way about her facial. The pedicure was nice, but one of our two pedicurists worked very slowly, so I had to wait for a while before my mother-in-law was done. We both agreed that we should come back here for a massage because it is affordable and so close to her house.
They also have a frequent buyer card where you get points for every dollar you spend that you can use on more services.
