I have never ever been to a Hooters in my life, but a friend from the South came to visit and out of all the places in Manhattan to have lunch, that's where he chose to go! The place was packed with a rowdy group and all like 20 Tv's in the place were playing football. It was hard to have a conversation when a good play was going on. The menu is pretty basic, but they definitely have great wings! I tried the 911 sauce, they were pretty spicy. I also really like their curly fries. My chicken ceaser salad was a big portion but the chicken wasn't as spicy as the actual wings. I must say, not many of the girls seemed....qualified to be working there. I mean given the name, I was expecting Pamela Anderson clones walking around. Our waitress was nice, but very flakey. She got my friend's order wrong twice and then refilled my iced tea with coke. Maybe it was just a rough day given the football crowd. Anyway, it was an interesting experience, but I think I'll see what other places there are in the area!
