I've hired A&E Factory Service to repair two appliances. The first time I waited all day for the 8-5 window and they never called and never showed up. When I called just before 5 they said the tech was too busy to make it. The second time (for another appliance - no choice but to hire them as they're the only GE-certified company available) they came as promised the first time. They ordered a part and scheduled the repair appointment between 8am and noon two days later. They didn't show up again. When I called they said their system said "awaiting part confirmation" and my repair appointment was never on their books.
According to the techs who came out, their system is very convoluted. They seemed to be implying that scheduling is very confusing and parts delivery is unreliable. I guess I'm not the first to suffer through it!
If your appliances are broken, you have enough stress. Go with Superior Appliance. They're terrific.
