Bad prices, bad service. 6/22/2006

I sometimes go to this store because they are close to my house. But I usually regret evertime I do. The last time I wanted to pick up some ice cream for my pregnant girlfriend, and it took half an hour once I got there! They were 'out' of it, and it was on sale. So I asked the only employee i could find if they substituted. She said I had to ask some guy in a gray hat since he was the grocery manager. He said to ask the stock boy. It took me a few minutes to find him. He went to check and returned after about another 5 minutes without the ice cream, but said he could get it if i wanted. Once he did (another 5+ minutes), i went to the register. Or rather I tried to. No one was there. Not a single register was open or staffed. But the girl I had talked to before stopped her card game with the gard to check me out. The 10 minute drive to Meijer would have been faster and possibly cheaper! But much less stressful. more
