I live about 5 blocks from the Lowes Foods market and 6 blocks from Food Lion. I shop regularly at Lowes Foods because:
- the meat is fresher
- more items in their deli
- great customer service
- individual attention from the butcher
You can also visit their site online at http://www.lowesfoods.com I use the site to find their weekly circular. Once you've got the circular up, roll your mouse over the items and it pops up a dialog box telling you what the sale is!
This week you can get boneless ribeye steak, certified Hereford beef for $6.99 a pound, $7.99 a pount for jumbo Carolina shrimp, $2.89 a pound for baby back ribs, 24 pack of Deer Park water for $3.99.
Another thing I like about their BOGO's -- you only have to buy one and they give it to you at half price!
You can also shop online, using the online shopping link. Their shoppers will put your order together and you can pick it up! This is great for us - we are on the road working a lot and I can come home and just pick up my groceries!
The clerks always offer to take your items to your car for you. Now that's a nice added touch!
