We visited several furniture stores today looking for a computer desk for my son. We stopped at Oak Express and were impressed at some of the very nice furniture, although I was dismayed at some of the very high prices. I didn't want something made of particle board and accepted the fact that something made with real oak would be pricey.
We found several nice desks but had questions. Usually when shopping at a furniture store, you are bombarded with sales staff hovering over you. That was not the case at Oak Express. The store was huge and there was no sales staff to be found. I ran into one woman I thought might be a sale's rep, but no, she was looking for a sale's rep also.
We finally found someone to help and ended up buying a desk. Unfortunately, they don't keep much furniture in stock, so it will be two weeks until we can return to Tulsa to pick it up. If this hadn't been the fourth store we visited in the 101 degree heat, I probably would of kept looking.
