Apartments are ok, but the management are beyond DISHONEST!! I had this apartment for work purposes only. My job then sent me to help out elsewhere for several months. During the 9 month lease, I was there for less than 3 months of it total. When my company officially moved me, I faxed the management all the paperwork needed to have my company pay the last two months rent. Let's just say the ball was dropped and they tried to charge us all kinds of late fees and made it out to be my fault that they couldn't do their job properly. It was a huge run around before they got it taken care of. So much of a time consuming run around that my company told me not to worry about it anymore, that they would take care of it. We moved my furniture out at the end of the lease (I hadn't been there for over 3 months). The apartment was left cleaner than when we moved in. Now they're trying to charge a deodorizing fee of $65 "heavy food odor". Funny considering I wasn't there for 6 months out of 9 and since I work 12 hrs. a day I always eat out, not to mention this unit was a demo before I moved in. They're trying to do whatever they can to keep as much of the deposit money as possible even if it means making up stuff. And they obviously have the cleaning service writing up bogus estimates. When my wife called to question it the management then said that they were told by Sam's carpet service that they couldn't pin point where or what the odor was, but that a treatment was needed. Seems BOTH are SHADY,SHADY,SHADY!!!!
