I was in that fancy, overpriced cookware shop in the Ferry Building waiting for a tourist friend to do her thing, and I was reading an article in one of the cooking mags, the top new Asian restaurants in the country. And what do you know, one of the places on the list was in the Ferry building. So, we went there… it's an Asian delicatessen. That means they have all sorts of prefabed salads, bento boxes and such, what they call "sozai" – Japanese meals made up of many small dishes. I guess, like tapas, but it all comes in a cutesy, compartmentalized tray. The article was spot on. The food here is innovative and really good. Everything is clean and healthy. I sorta imagine eating in the future will be something like this. Yummy seaweed salad.
