We are very sorry for any misunderstandings regarding the return policy for any and all Weber-Stephen products. It is not the policy of Sutter Home & Hearth to turn customers away that have problems or returns. Instead, we strive to make a customer’s experience as painless as possible through a challenging time with damaged product. Sutter Home & Hearth understands how frustrating a time constraint can be when the new appliance is defective right out of the box. In the case below, it is the policy of Weber-Stephen that all returns are to be handled through Weber Customer Service and this information is printed clearly on the front and back of the Owners Kit found in every Weber BBQ. Special instructions for contacting Weber-Stephen in the event of a defective new product are printed on the back of the Owners Kit with the phone number of Weber Customer Service 1-(800)-446-1071. As this reviewer said below Sutter Home & Hearth was unable to take the return of the Weber BBQ because the BBQ was not in the original packaging.
