This is a place you should take your friends from out of town. They will understand why it is so special to be in Colorado, and they will have some fantastic photos to take home. Roxborough's red rocks jutting into the blue Colorado sky form one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. The rock formations at this park are over a billion years old -- yes, a billion (with a B). Mountain lions, bear, and elk roam free. For we humans, there are hiking trails and helpful rangers. This is one of the most scenic places in the West.
