The most important thing to be aware of when visiting the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is that high stakes gaming is not allowed in Florida (yet) & all of the video gaming machines are Bingo-based. The casino has over 50 busy poker tables, including the very popular Texas Hold 'Em, but even these games are limited in payouts because the players are playing only against each other, not the house. If you do plan on frequenting the casino, be sure to sign up for the Players' Club which offers perks based upon your amount of play & entries into great giveaways.
The standard hotel rooms are nothing exciting & overpriced considering how few amenities they offer. If you are unlucky enough to stay in one of the rooms that shares a "front door" and small entryway with the next room, be prepared to hear doors slam and echo every time the next door guests go in & out.
The pool area is fantastic and it's really the only place for kids to spend time, so this resort isn't well-suited for a family vacation. I'd recommend the Seminole Hard Rock as a fun place to hang out for the day, but not as a place that any of my friends or family would actually want to stay at.
