My first experience with Pomodoro's was good - we picked up two meat calzones & they were great. However my subsequent experiences with them have been lacking & I will not be going back. I work two blocks from the restaurant, so I placed an order for pickup 45 minutes before I would be arriving. When I arrived to pick up the order, the owner had no clue what I was talking about regardless of the fact that I had spoken directly to him about my order. Needless to say, the order had not been prepared even though his wife showed him exactly where she had posted it & he expected me to wait 10 minutes for it to be cooked. No sir, I'll be giving someone else my business.
We decided to get pizza this past Friday night & since I was craving a calzone, I decided to give Pomodoro's one last try. First, they did not have ricotta cheese so they could only make a stromboli for me. I was ok with that, but neither the stromboli nor my husband's sub were good that night. So I will not be going back to Pomodoro's again!
