The Cherry Creek Arts Festival is an impressive collection of beautiful, interesting, and straight out bizarre art. There is literally something for everyone, and although you could spend thousands of dollars on some pieces, there are affordable works too. From photographers, jewelry makers and some guy who makes what look like rocket replicas out of vacuum engines, there are some really cool things at this year's festival. Wear your walking shoes and bring water - the July 4th weekend is hardly ever cool and balmy! I recommend going early in the morning (they open at 10am to beat the crowds. If you can, check out Shelby Keefe whose scenes of Denver are really cool. Her painting of a Denver neighborhood is featured as this year's poster. Absolutely check this out.
