Their trendy black and white color scheme isn't even the best part of the new Oak Lawn Sushi Zushi. The people are unfailingly polite, funny and friendly. They try hard to make you feel comfortable and cared for, and every single time I've dined in, the manager has stopped by to ask how we're doing. (tastefully, at the end of the meal and before the check.) They had my name down by my second take-out order, and greeted me on my first visit like I was an old college buddy.
Beware the horseradish sprouts in the veggie roll, it certainly took me by surprise. But other than that, the menu is typically priced and always fresh. The fried green tea ice cream, with DIY strawberry and chocolate sauce, was the perfect end to lunch.
